Text Transcript of Video Showing 🎬 Video Demonstrating Qualities of How to Find Out Which Cell Phone Carrier a Number is

00:01 In this video I'm going to show you how you can very easily find out who the carrier network is of a cell phone number this is useful if you want to be able to send somebody an email to their cell phone and they'll get it as a text message you may not have known you can do that.

00:19 The easiest or fastest way to find the carrier network of any cell phone number is simply do a Google search find cell phone carrier. With most of the web pages of the search results returned, you'll have to enter that person's phone number and answer a quick captcha bot test and it will show you the information.

00:52 This second way of finding the owner company or carrier network of a cell phone number I like better because it does not rely upon any other third party application or service and this second way of finding the carrier network of a mobile number can be performed within your email program.

01:03 Send a email to these different carrier network gateway addresses:

  • [area code][phone number]@sms.alltelwireless.com
  • [area code][phone number]@txt.att.net
  • [area code][phone number]@sms.myboostmobile.com
  • [area code][phone number]@mymetropcs.com
  • [area code][phone number]@msg.fi.google.com
  • [area code][phone number]@text.republicwireless.com
  • [area code][phone number]@messaging.sprintpcs.com
  • [area code][phone number]@message.ting.com
  • [area code][phone number]@tmomail.net
  • [area code][phone number]@email.uscc.net
  • [area code][phone number]@vtext.com
  • [area code][phone number]@vmobl.com.

01:36 The syntax for sending an email to a cell phone that they receive as a text message is [area code] [phone number]@[the carrier network] without any dashes or spaces in the phone number, replacing the area code with the area code of the person you want to text message an email to and replacing the phone number with the target phone number. .

01:57 Remember to separate each carrier network email address with a comma ,. Paste all of the comma separated emails into the email program TO: field and then click the SEND button. I have my cell phone right here so you will hear the text message come in. Now one thing you should know, is in many instances , when you send a email to these addresses, the recipients cell phone is actually going to receive multiple emails/text messages because, for some reason, many of these different cell phone carriers overlap.
