00:01 This video is going to introduce to you a brand new tool that allows you to check if a username is available on ebay.com.
00:10 On the web page that has the Ebay Username Availability Check tool, the green text box enter in the username you desire to create an Ebay account with. Press the button with the text Is Username Available on Ebay?.
00:22 If the username you entered in the tool IS available green text will appear letting you know that username IS available for you to create an account on Ebay with. If the username is NOT available, red text will tell you that username is taken and there will be a link to that Ebay username profile. If your desired username IS already taken on Ebay, keep trying different usernames until you find one that is available.
00:41 If you want to change your username on eBay, go to https://www.ebay.com/help/account/changing-account-settings/changing-username?id=4198. You'll be asked to sign into your eBay account and you'll be directed to a page where you can enter the new username you desire. If it is available, you will be able to change your eBay username. When you are finished, click the Save button and your username will be changed to that username on eBay. You can use the Ebay Username Available Checker tool to find an available username to change your current eBay username to.
