So you emailed or messaged someone on Plenty Of Fish and you wish you didn't because you realize they are not your type or maybe a stalker or something else, and now you want to hide your POF.com profile from them??
According to Plenty Of Fish, you can hide your profile from members with the exception of members you have already had some sort of interaction with.
Other Things you can do to Hide Your Profile from a Member of POF
- Block them. You probably already thought of that, but we had to mention it to make sure you thought of it.
- Create a new Plenty Of Fish profile and then delete the old one. Yes, we know it is a bit of a task to create a Plenty Of Fish profile with all the questions to answer, but this is a surefire way to completely hide yourself from any members of Plenty Of Fish. Just remember to jot down the usernames of people you have communicated with and still want to communicate with when your new profile is created. (unless you are a paid upgraded member of Plenty Of Fish, you should jot down the entire URL or web address to their profile and not just their username, because you can't do a username search on POF unless you are a paid upgraded member).
Once you have your new profile created, be more careful about who you talk with in the future so you don't have to worry about hiding your profile again.
